The spacious room and common areas are very clean. The balcony offers a breathtaking view. There’s a small kitchenette where you can boil water, use the dishes, and store food in the fridge. Within walking distance, you’ll find a vegetable shop and stores with all the essentials. Simple yet delicious Sri Lankan food is available nearby. The room doesn’t feel hot, so there’s no need for air conditioning. I didn’t even use the fan. It’s a perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the mountains and local sights. Getting to the center of Kandy is easy: take a tuk-tuk or hop on a local bus, which runs frequently. The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!

La struttura è molto bella, elegante, pulita. Le stanze sono spaziose e curate; il bagno è molto funzionale. Bellissima la piscina a sfioro, ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di escursione. La colazione è abbondante e ottima; abbiamo prenotato la cena (la mattina per la sera) ed è stata buonissima (tra l'altro, abbondante e a prezzi inferiori ai locali esterni). Per alloggiare in questa struttura occorre avere un mezzo; è sulle colline si Kandy, non si raggiunge a piedi. La vista lassù è molto bella.

Con vista sulla montagna, Tedro home stay prevede un giardino, una sala comune e una terrazza e si trova a circa 3,9 km da Museo di Kandy. For us it was an amazing week that we did not expect the peace of the place, and the ease of getting around. Asela drove us to Kandy any time, we didn't know is was so close, and the drive so easy. It was actually nicer for us to be out of the city and Ascela took us around at a very low cost, we used messaging and always on time to meet us. Restaurants are interesting in town but we enjoyed eating at the home-stay because the food was very very good & healthy, such a beautiful place to look over the valley & their own vegetable & herb garden! We liked going on walks, magnificent views, and Asela actually gave us a little hiking tour! In Kandy, there are tourists like us- at Tedro we had privacy, but also felt part of the community when we took walks. There is a TV but we never used it. We will be back, some day, and we do recommend this precious experience to anyone that wants good food, good sleep (the bed is great, view is really nice) access to town& the sights. In fact, we ended up going on a longer excursion to Siguria with Asela as our driver! He kindly got us there and back safeley, and gave us a lot of space for personal privacy as we did our own exploring. He is a very good guide and his family - downstairs from the room & porches - is respectful.

Beautiful accommodation in the hills surrounding Kandy. Actually some of my Kandy highlights were the lazy mornings and afternoons spent here. Punya is very responsive including when our train arrived later than expected, past 10pm, and also helped us arrange onward travel. Ravi is great, and made us feel very at home. He is also an excellent chef! The breakfasts are delicious, and we had something a little different each day. Thank you!

Paradise Point Nature Cabana Kandy si trova a Kande e prevede la vista sulla montagna, un giardino, una sala comune e una terrazza. The host, Sarath, and his staff were exceptional. Breakfast was so good, I didn't eat lunch. I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone that's looking for a relaxing time surrounded by nature.

A 4,2 km da Ceylon Tea Museum, Avons Residence Hanthana mette a disposizione sistemazioni con una sala comune, una terrazza e una cucina in comune, che fa sempre comodo. I cannot recommend this place enough. The villa is dreamy, with breathtaking peaceful surroundings, clean and the owners cannot do enough to make sure you have the best say. Firstly we were collected as our Uber driver got lost, then the owners organised dinner both evenings, took us to the elephant sanctuary and arranged a drive to our next destination. It was a trip we will never forget

Dotato di terrazza e vista sulla montagna, Solitary Cottage Dunhinna è un alloggio situato a Teldeniya, a 25 km da Stadio di Cricket Pallekele International e 38 km da Bogambara Stadium. This place was just amazing, best part of our Sri Lankan road trip! It’s situated high up in the mountains with beautiful views and no people around. It’s so peaceful. I wish we could stay for weeks. The cottage is so comfy and well equipped. Erik, the owner, is great. He speaks really good English, always replies right away and organises anything you need. We had an old car and had hard times driving in the mountains so he organised parking spot for as and tuk to take us to the cottage. He also organised great guides to take us to Knuckles five peak trek. There is a dog Rocky who is super cute and friendly, making sure you’re safe during your stay. I highly recommend to order rice and curry too, it was so delicious!

Beautifully located on the hill gives a great view of the entire Kandy. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. Mr. Prasad, the manager took care of everything for us. You should try the breakfast here it is really good.
