The Resort was beautiful and its location. We really enjoyed the morning hikes,the entertainment within the resort was fun. Oh my and the staff was very friendly, big ups to them. We loved our room and view of the mountains.

God, what can you say about Montusi? We felt in love with this place. Our prefered moments in our journey to discover SA. We'd loved staying a few days more. Gorgeous place, exceptional facilities, people and food. We wish we could come back asap.

    The setting of Greenfire Lodge is just magnificent! The dining area - in a big log cabin - overlooking the Drakensberg Amphitheatre in the distance is just the nicest place to have the three wonderful meals served daily! The numerous walks and variety thereof were just fantastic.

    We had three nights here on a DBB basis in a Garden Suite Room (7). Suite was very large and most comfortable with lounge area, bedroom area and very good bathroom. Suite had sweeping views across to the Drakensberg Mountains. Restaurant service and food was most satisfactory. We took advantage of a daily guided walk (Montusi Peak) with Victor that was thoroughly enjoyable and informative. The next day we took a short drive into the Royal Natal park and did the Tulega Gorge day walk, amazing scenery up close to the Drakensberg Amphitheatre.
