SpainGail, Bonty, Karla and Marc are wonderful hosts, they gave us lots of tips before and during our stay. Food was superb! They did a barbecue for us one day and it was delicious.
The place is so lovely, rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, it is in front of the Kruger fence so you can see animals hanging around right in front of you. We regretted not doing any safari with Marc, we found him by chance at Kruger Park and in a few minutes he pointed lots of animals that we haven´t spotted. The lodge is around 20-25 minutes from Kruger´s gate. It´s paradise!!

Easy entry to the marvelous Kruger national park.
Easy entry to the marvelous Kruger national park. Get there early to avoid queues especially at weekends and holidays. I wholeheartedly recommend taking a guided tour, the external guides are best, I used "My African Safari" and Dylan was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate and great fun. Easy access to the crocodile bridge. We were surprised that the staff came to come and clean the next day. Definitely a bonus. We can’t wait for the renovation to be done and will definitely will be back. You’re about a minute away from the crocodile bridge gate. We saw a number of animal from hotel’s viewing deck and from our room. Including elephants and lioness with her two cubs scaring impalas. The staff and management at the hotel are very friendly and the food is freshly cooked every night. You get a chance to sit around the fire pit and swap stories with other guests. Host Michelle is very friendly and welcoming. She moved our family to an alternative location due to an issue in the room. The room is very clean and comfortable, with delicious breakfast served. One day we had to leave early for Mozambique, Michelle packed our breakfast to go,very heartwarming. The house is right next to Kruger National Park Crocodile Bridge gate, great location.
