It was a superb experience at Halepuna. We enjoyed all the moments that we were at this hotel. All the people were highly professional, courteous, and helpful. They organized and provided guidance about all our requests. Our room was tidied up every day, and all of the amenities were replenished. We enjoyed the morning coffee and cake at breakfast time. The infinity pool was a good add-on. We also used the sister hotel's restaurant, bar, and surf course. The only thing left to you is to enjoy your stay and relax.

Great location! Waikik is one of the best parts of Honolulu, there are plenty of shops, big brands and restaurants in an easy reach. Also, the famous Waikiki beach is about 5 minutes by walk. The facilities are awesome! We didn't get to the pools, but we loved the washing room, it came very handy that we could clean our dirty clothes in the middle of a long trip (for free). The room was one of the best ones, if not the best one, we ever had! Everything seemed to be brand new, the furniture has great quality. We loved that the doors of each rooms are opening in each others - so, you can walk around from the living room through the bedroom and bahtroom, then get back to the living room (though not having a door on the toilet is an interesting choice). The kitchen was fully equipped, we loved the USB plugs at the bedsides and to have both a bath tube and a shower cabin.

The reception and front desk staff were so helpful and polite. The room we had was fantastic. Plenty of room, clean, well stocked. Cute on premises shop and eatery. Pool area was nice but small, however I didn’t come to Hawai’i to sit at a pool. Location is great and within walking distance to a lot of great places. I would definitely stay here again. I thought the price for the high end area was good.

    There is a wide beach frontage, with all the deck chairs and umbrellas, best thing to do bring your own floatie and beach chair and just float the day away in the beautiful water. If you swim in front of the Royal Hawaiian you might even see the turtles that were in the water when we visited, we were lucky enough that one popped up right next to us. Amazing experience, an absolute highlight of our visit.

    The water near the Sheraton is a bit rocky, if you want some clearer water then go to fort derussy. There's a little less people and a good cocktail place "a blue shack" if your after a cool drink

    Our hotel lent us towels and beach chairs.

    Our hotel lent us towels and beach chairs. Before you settle on a spot, check out the far left as it has a man made shorebreak that makes the waves much less agressive and it was great for someone like me who doesn't like to be pushed around by the waves. There were many kids playing in the water because it was so calm. We went in May and the water was around 68 degrees. The sun is strong, I recommend you buy an umbrella at the ABC store of Longs they are around $20 and totally worth it. It was very hard to find a shady spot.

    This is the beach closest to where we stayed and it more than met our expectations. It was wonderful. We could have stayed there all day from sunrise to sunset. Just spectacular. Beautiful sunsets. Lovely holiday atmosphere. Nothing can compare.

    You're unable to see the beach from the street due to the...

    You're unable to see the beach from the street due to the extensive buildup of hotels. But you can walk through the hotels to get to it eventually. Kaulakaula Avenue is similar to Rodeo Drive in LA. The "mom & pop" shops on the side streets are closed. If you don't have a microwave, refrigerator or kitchenette you'll be paying "big bucks" for your food. There's a Safeway Grocery store for your food needs near to Waikiki beach. Traffic in the Beach area is heavy. If you don't have a map there are volunteers throughout the area who can direct you. I recommend the Ilima Hotel for your stay. It's 2 blocks away from the beach, reasonable, has limited free parking, 10 minutes from Safeway, and easy access to the H1.

    A very beautiful beach, very relaxing, very scenic, boat docs and marinas, parks, nature trails, beautiful white sand, safe and enjoyable. They have luaus at various hotels along the beach and for a reasonable fee you can go to one, but we did not. The water is crystal clear and a beautiful tropical blue green tint appearance to it. This beach is a great place to go to relax and enjoy the scenery.

    The Imi the manager was so organized and efficent. She was lovely, friendly and helpfull, answering any questions. us with any questions The rooms were immaculate. The location was wonderfull, a short walk to Waikiki Beach. There was a Food Pantry Supermarket 6mins away that baked , cooked and made fresh take away meals. FRESH sushi, biscuits and salads were delicious. The Hostel kitchen had everything you could want and the FILTERED water from the dispenser in kitchen was excellent. Highly Recommend this Hostel.     The hotel is in a good location, not far from Waikiki beach and the room was nice and big enough. It had been freshly painted and had a balcony, and a microwave and fridge. The property was under construction, but as our stay was over the weekend we didn’t experience any inconveniences besides the hallway carpet being covered up. The pool was not very big, but not busy so nice as well.

    Friendly, comfortable hotel set back a couple of blocks from Waikiki beach. Swimming pool and reasonably-priced restaurant with a mixture of local dishes and standard fare. Daily happy hour was a highlight. We liked this hotel, although it's in an older building showing its age in terms of the fixtures etc compared to newer (and higher priced) hotels closer to the beach. We would definitely consider staying there again.

    Perfect location within close proximity to Waikiki beach and a variety of restaurants and shops. The kitchen within the room / apartment was very handy and adequately equipped for the preparation of a meal. The activities organised by hotel staff such as the hula dance class and flower lai making were lots of fun and gave opportunity to meet other guests. The pool was great too. .

    Amazing view of Waikiki beach from the apartment. The apartment was so spacious and had all amenities to make for a great long stay! The host was very helpful and was always available when I needed assistance. Thank you for a wonderful stay my family and I enjoyed our vacation even more knowing we had an amazing room waiting for us at the end of each day. Also all the staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful!
