There’re only good things to say about Garlon. The location is perfect - close to all the cafes and cool neighborhood. Apartment was spacious and super clean, the cleaning staff was there every day, providing drinking water every day as well. And the management staff was extremely helpful all the way - even when I needed additional electives cord, they bought it for me and brought it in 10min. I checked in at 3am because of my flight and the staff was there to help with everything smiling and supportive. Very responsive to any requests. I totally recommend this place!

It was a pleasant experience. The facilities of the accommodation were satisfactory and old-fashioned. I was particularly satisfied with being able to experience the Hammam, a Turkish bath. It is close to major tourist attractions and there is a police station right next to it. They also had a rooftop bar and restaurant, and the view was very beautiful. Everyone at reception spoke English and were very friendly. Special thanks to Urras who helped us check out. Thanks to his kindness and help, I was able to retrieve a valuable item that had been lost in a taxi. Even though I missed my flight due to lost items, I was able to make my trip to Türkiye a good memory.

    It's a pleasant enough walk down from Tamsin, but most of the shops are similar to those to be found in most big cities in Europe. The historic tram is a fun ride if you want to skip the walk. Alternatively, take a detour into the Galatasaray "Fish Market" for a more local view, or into the street full of bars to the right at the Tünel end of the street.

    Great place for people-watching, with 2 million people a day traipsing up and down it. Be sure and explore some of the side alleys. And if you can get in at a time when the Korean tourists are otherwise busy, try the Kaymak at Ozsut Muhallebicisi down near the Tunel station; more than a little fattening bjut oh so good!

    One of the most busy streets in Istanbul, there is shopping, there is food, there is nightlife. Wallets and phones in your front pocket for sure. Shops stay open till ten pm and food till late night. Nightlife was fun there were alot of local pubs.

    I had a great stay at Taximtown Hotel. Its location, just a short walk from Istiklal Street, is very convenient. The breakfast was nice and the staff were always kind and attentive.     Absolutely loved the view of the Bosphorus from the terrace. Great location with a tram stop close by and a walk or funicular to Taksim Metro and Istiklal Street. The family room was spacious and clean with everything you need and breakfast was plentiful with eggs made to order. This is a family run hotel so very friendly and made sure you had everything you need. Loved it here, great hotel with lots of character. Pool was great for a rest and swim between sightseeing .

    The hotel was lovely. It was a minutes walk away from Istiklal street and was easy to navigate the local area. The hotel was impeccably clean, the staff were extremely warm and helpful. The local area is lively at night and so there are lovely things to do with great bars and lounges. The local bakeries make waking up all the more special as you wake up to the smell of fresh baked goods. I really recommend this hotel.

    The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very close to Istiklal street where you can do all your shopping as well as fantastic restaurants. It is very close to the Galata tower where you have the shops with the typical Turkish goods to buy. The swimming pool on the rooftop is wonderful; it really helps with kids. The indoor pool and spa facilities looked amazing, but we didn't have time to make use of it.

    Very close to Istiklal Street (5 minutes)/but very quiet. The room/apartment was very comfortable having also a small garden with cosy furniture , fast Wi-Fi and free Netflix. The reception is 24/7. The staff was very friendly and helpful always willing to take care of us. The breakfast was the famous Turkish breakfast with fresh eggs, vegetables and olives. It is definitely value for money. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much Mr. Umut and Mr. Emre for your hospitality.

    The staff were very nice and helpful with whatever I needed, and the room was amazing, very spacious, and comfortable. I also liked that the hotel was very close to the central area of ​​Istiklal Street, Galata Tower. The comfort of our duplex room was perfect. Although we did not do much in the kitchen, it had a complementary ambiance. We loved it there)

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Mustafa and Sinem provided excellent customer service and truly went above and beyond – they made our stay experience much better. The hotel itself is in a very good location, just a short walk from Istiklal Street, which made it easy to explore the city. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    Istiklal street is a big pedestrian market that include all kind of shopping with really quality items with reasonable prices. Clothes especially they have varity and really reasonable prices. Everything in this street, clothes, turkish delights, sweets, food, restaurants, music, coffee shops. Istanbul also have specialised matkets like bride's matket in Fatih that includes wedding dresses and all items related to weddings.
