Breakfasts were traditional Turkish fare, with a broad selection of fruits, cheeses, and meats, various types of coffee and tea, and egg dishes, including omelettes, all cooked to perfection. The staff were thoughtful, diligent, and friendly, and the management, including one of the owners who was also the building's architect, were warm and charming and genuinely interested in their guests. The swimming pool, though unheated, is a pleasant place to relax in the warmth of the autumn sun. And to top things off, the location is ideal, on one side less than 200 m from the Temple of Artemis, and on the other side 300 m from the Ephesus Museum, which verges on the business district. The rest of the historical site of Ephesus is no more than 2 or 3 km away from the hotel, ideal for walking or driving.

The Hotel is very boutique type and everything is very luxurious, we would like to thanks the owner of the hotel .. Mr. Bugra .. Is very much concern about each and every guests of his hotel. He has travel agency as well and it is very helpful to plan our tripe with saving cost .. Highly recommend this place.

It was the best hotel I stayed during my Turkey trip. I really enjoyed everything. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, we had pool view. There was kettle and mini-fridge in room. Beds were comfortable. Water in the pool was refreshing around 20th May (warm enough to have quick swim but probably not warm enough for relaxing and probably too chilly for people from warmer countries). Staff was helpful, but not too pushy or chatty. They also organized transfers from and to airport for us and gave some info about nearby sights. Breakfast was very good and had enough variety. The pomegranate juice is made by hosts themselves (and freezed for off-season) not bought from store.

The lovely owner and her delightful colleague were most welcoming and provided us with 2 wonderful days in Selçuk. The hotel is very clean, exceptionally tasteful and comfortable. The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable and we had direct access from our room to the pieceful yard. Great care for every detail is taken. The bathroom was large and the toiletries much nicer than usual. They smelled beautiful of olive and lavendar. They seemed to be from local producers. The breakfast was a delicious large spread of traditional Turkish food. A special perk was the freshly squeezed orange juice and tasty coffee. The location was quiet and we could walk to little restaurants in the old part of the town. We highly recommend In Efes Boutique Hotel and will go back if in the area again.

    This museum was excellent if you enjoy history.

    This museum was excellent if you enjoy history. In fact we enjoyed it better than Epheseus itself which might sound bizarre. The only annoyance was they started locking up early and shooing us out when there was still 2030 minutes left at the end of the evening. This is common all over Turkey but it wasnt that cheap to visit so rather annoying.

    Excellent location. As i arrived by the metro, the hotel was a very short walk from the station. Also a short walk to the St. John basilica, Selcuk fort, the Ephesus museum and the bus ststion for getting about. The family who run the hotel were lovely and welcoming, giving me lots of infomation about how to get around and super helpful. The whole atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and comfortable. Breafast was great too. Highly recommended.

    Long-time favouirite pension in popular Selçuk where some of the rooms have lovely imaginative and colourful decor. In summer the terrace is a great place to meet other travellers and admire view. Breakfast room as colourful as some of the bedrooms. Location could hardly be better, close to bus station, Ephesus museum and road to ruins of Ephesus.

    The hotel is located in walking distance to local attractions as the Ephesus museum and just opposite the basilica ruins. The breakfast was very delicious and plenty, the staff very friendly, a real family atmosphere which welcomed us.

    The property is at a walkable distance from Selçuk Bus Station, the ruins of Ephesus, Ephesus Museum, restaurants, cafes, hostels and so on. The place was clean, furnished with vintage looking articles. The staff were helpful and professional. Good breakfast spread.

    Wonderful traditional Ottoman furnishings throughout. Very friendly and helpful staff . The manager is very informed and speaks excellent English. He's capable of helping out wherever it is needed. Selcuk is a charming little town with the Basilica of St John and the Ephesus Museum both world class sites. A great base to explore Ephesus. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.
