The hotel is A+ for the location in the center and very friendly staff to give us welcome drink. The room is facing the street so we could see the old town but very quiet. The breakfast is well prepared and staff is patient to take pictures for us. Every time we ask questions, is it short time to receive response. If you go to Ljubljana, it is the idle place to stay, we recommend it to everyone.

    Fantastic views.

    Fantastic views. Lovely place to eat and drink when you are there. Finicular railway ticket we found sufficient as it takes you up and back and even though you can't go in the castle you can look around the grounds and into the chapel (check out the ceiling paintings), prisoner cells and an art exhibition.

    Fantastic to visit early in the day before the crowds get...

    Fantastic to visit early in the day before the crowds get there. A lovely cafe for coffee up there too. The Puppet Museum was fantastic to visit and there was instant theatre happening around the place. I had a lovely time here and spent a good couple of hours investigating everything there was to see here.

    Take the funicular to the castle, but don't pay for anything...

    Take the funicular to the castle, but don't pay for anything more than the view. You won't get to see the chapel, a small history museum, the dungeon, or the viewing tower; but combined these aren't worth the extra price. Note that the Ljubluana Transport Card can be used for both the funicular and admission.

    Wonderful.

    Wonderful. Very impressed by how the city has integrated modernity into the old castle without making it over commercial, with a lot of thought for access. Lovely cafe. Views are great, I love a funicular and for those who require it, there is the electric train which will also bypass the steps from the funicular exit into the castle

    The castle was taken up by the old Funicular or otherwise you can take a long walk up. A truly beautiful view from the top and there is like temporary exhibitions and cafe and castle history in which we didn't see. Take approx up to 2 hour for the journey up.

    Our room featured the great view of the Ljubljana castle and the river. Check in was fast and the lady at the reception was very helpful. The room was good and the bathroom was quite spacious. Location is also great, though it was a bit too noisy at nights, as there are lots of bars and restaurants nearly.

    Breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from. The location is perfect—everything you’d want to see in Ljubljana is within a 10-minute walk. You even pass the three famous bridges on the way to Ljubljana Castle. I totally recommend this place. Also, big shoutout to the receptionist who gave us a free upgrade to a higher-floor room so my girlfriend and I could have a more romantic stay. Really appreciated that!

    Location is really good, everything walkable from the location like the plaza, the triple bridge, and Ljubljana Castle. Food places also nearby. We had a good view of the castle, too. Apartment amenities were good. Modern check-in experience, communication on point. We got a washing machine in the apartment which is nice, would suggest the property to list it in the amenities as it's a good-to-have.

    The hotel is steps from the main square. My room was extremelly spacious and comfortable, it had a minifridge and an electric kettle. Everything was super clean. And i had view of the Ljubljana castle from my balcony. The breakfast is more than decent. And the reception staff was amazingly nice and friendly and helpful
