Be careful of the monkeys and wear sensible shoes as the steps are slippery and also the caves have a mineral water content that can be also dangerous on your feet: I slipped over! Read up before going - there is no information about anything- except that in 2007 the cardigan statue was erected. Also, grab and taxis need to directed down this alley which takes ages to clear. Interesting place, lots to see, plenty of walking. Recommend getting a taxi there to give flexibility on how long you stay. The Batu Cave is cool to see.
The Batu Cave is cool to see. However, I went there the day after the festival so there was a lot of trash left around and in the cave. That was disappointing to see and there was a bit of smell because of the heat and trash. The caves are damp and wet, so not the best.
The caves are damp and wet, so not the best. Bathrooms are far from the main entrance of the caves. The area is not well maintained. Inside the cave they are fixing leaks. The community and government could do a lot more. The fun - is running up the stairs, however the steps are narrow, so if you are not fit, best to skip.Guest review byHomemKenya

Very clean and helpful staff. Nice pool for a dip after a long sweaty day. Lots of restaurants near by. Shopping malls everywhere, very high end near the hotel.
