We enjoyed our stay at Blue Pillars, we were w family of 5, so had two rooms here. A nice family run hotel. Our host was super friendly and kind. The breakfast was superb and we were greeted with tea on arrival on the lovely roof terrace with great views. The rooms were spacious and clean and a perfect retreat after a long journey and a day exploring

Simply a wonderful stay. The staff (Nam, Aruna and the chef) are so nice, helpful and welcoming. Everything was perfect : location, food (outstanding freshly cooked breakfasts 🤤), very clean and nice rooms. We definitely recommend to everyone we know for your stay in Kandy and would be happy to come back one day 🇱🇰 Thank you for everything 🙏🏻 Bohoma istuti !!

Everything was perfect!! And whats about the staff. Just Amazing. My friend Lost her purse and she didnt know where it can be, and they did everything to help. Best staff you can ask for. And the bed were just amazing. We will be back for sure

Amazing decor and facilities inside a large country house. Very comfortable rooms, excellent service and delicious food made on site. Very friendly staff that go the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable and looked after. The pool is amazing and looks out onto the valley. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy, and is worth travelling to Kandy for!

It is the hill capital of Sri Lanka, the last kingdom to be colonies not by an invasion or military defeated but by a bribe by the British colonials. Gateaway to beautiful hill country.

    This is the one of the nicest parts of Kandy to walk -...

    This is the one of the nicest parts of Kandy to walk - however please take note Kandy Tourist association that the area surrounding the water of the lake needs cleaning regularly to ensure the wildlife continues to flourish. Please keep it clean either with paid employees or gather some volunteers to regularly get rid of the rubbish coming down the river into the lake and surrounding areas

    Breakfast and dinner provided by hostel staff. It's pretty much at the end of Kandy lake so the best way is to walk along the lake side specially in evening when the birds are joyfully chirping. Host was also very nice and allowed me to checkin an hour early

    Kingsman house was a real oasis of calm just a short walk from the Kandy lake and bustle of the city. We were treated so well by the staff at the hotel and loved sitting out on the balcony and playing cards, enjoying the view and the birdsong from the garden. The breakfasts were amongst the best we'd had in Sri Lanka too. All the furniture and decor is pristine and we thought our stay was great value.

    It is a beautiful location, very close to Kandy town and the temple. I enjoyed walking around the Kandy lake after I visited the temple which was a walking distance from the hotel. Staffs were very friendly and my food was prepared the way I wanted.

    Beautiful authentic rooms close to Kandy Lake. We spent just one night at Villa 49, our first night in Sri Lanka. We travelled as a family of four and stayed in a family room. We found it very good value for money, authentic and much more personable than a larger hotel. The decor was very sweet. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and found Shanani and all staff to be friendly and attentive. Shanani helped us arrange a day tour of Kandy by Tuk Tuk, visiting temples and the Botanical Gardens, and onward travel with a taxi to our next destination.

    The location of the hotel is just perfect. You are near the city center but you also have a wonderfull view on the Kandy Lake. The breakfast was great and you can choose between occidental or sri lankan.

    I stayed at Viyana for one night. From the welcome at the Check in to check out the staff was extremely attentive. Felt like I’ve known them for a while. They helped me rent a vehicle to my next destination and gave me some good references. The room was spacious and very clean. Since the hotel is next to the Kandy lake its very close to the city center. Food was amazing very flavorful. Breakfast had a massive range and was super full afterwards. Hope to come back soon. :)
