Big comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Also the location is very quiet.
Secured parking is right next to the property for €10 / day.
Train station is less than 10 min away with comfortable access to Napoli Central station.
Of you travel by car, the location is convenient to go both to Napoli and Pompei - easy access to Highway without traffic.
Host is very helpful, always stays in touch and gave clear instructions on self check-in!

PortugalI had an emergency situation and found myself looking for a hotel at midnight. I was welcomed at Villa Colombia with a level of professionalism, discretion and politeness that is today hard to find. I ended up staying two days, the service was always great, the room was very comfortable and beautiful, the building is gorgeous and surrounded by trees and with two swimming pools to start or end the day with a quick plunge and some sun bathing.

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel from which you can go for a trip to Vesuvius volcano- you can get a ticket at the hotel reception. Very helpfull staff, restaurant offers very good quality meals, there is a big carpark outside if you travel by car. Family friendly hotel.

Yes go and explore : So interesting ! A thing (or more) to observe and understand in every houses concerning life of ancient time, lava devastation or architecture. 3 hours are quite good to go all-around. An audio guide gives you many great informations. More acceptable for older travellers who might be overwhelmed by the scale of pompei, and really, how many old ruins can one digest in a trip before they all merge into one? I know some tour operators will offer you ercolano, pompei and vesuvius in one day. Not recommended ! At least a day for each I think . This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover.
This is as good as Pompei but lesser area to cover. If you are into Roman history, dedicate 3 hours to see the place. We took an audio guide and it was a good experience.
