CanadaWe stayed for five nights as we were attending a family wedding nearby and we absolutely loved our stay. Staff could not have been friendly or more helpful and the location was magnificent and it was handy to get into Tipp town for essentials. The lodge had plenty of space and spectacular views and was comfy and cosy. It was great value for money. Lodges Probably need some minor aesthetic touch ups in places but nothing major. The bar in the main hotel was really lovely and welcoming and well kept. We loved our time here and would definitely come back.

A fine example of medieval Irish castle, though in ruins. The chapel is especially worth a look. And the Sheela-na-gig is located on the corner of the outside wall of the old rectory, which is now the museum. It's literally a 1-2 minute walk away. We also loved that it was walking distance from the rock of Cashel, lots of lovely pubs, hairdressers and cafes. The beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped (even had an air fryer!) and there was plenty of towels in the utility.
