If you want to visit beautiful Dubrovnik, book an appartment just outside the old town. Get up very early and start your tour in Dubrovnik between 7 and 8 am. The Stradun is almost empty at that time. Between 9 and 10 the first boats and busses arrive and the main streets get overcrowded. A good time to start your walk on the walls. In the afternoon, when it's hot, visit Rector's palace, churches...
