In the Syntagma Square area we visited the Old Palace, the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the National Garden, the Zapeion, the Zapeion Roman Baths, Hadrian's Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium and the ruins of Aristotle's Gymnasium. Great square with step up to climb to see Parliament House and the change of guards. There a side path too of you cannot inn steps. The beautiful garden are onky 5 minutes walk away. A, must see. Nothing we asked was too much hassle. The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable. Washing machine, full kitchen, extra linen, balcony, and a lift for luggage. Less than 5 mins walk to convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, etc. Also, walking distance to Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Zeus , Hadrian’s arch, Plaka and Syntagma Square. On the last night we got accidentally locked out of the apartment and they came pretty quickly to unlock it for us. The location was great, 5 minutes walk from Syntagma square, so that was good especially for us carrying the luggage.
