It was a pleasure to stay at Hellenic Vibes Smart hotel. The location was perfect, all the staff members were very helpful, amazing breakfast with real orange juice, very good coffee and anything you can think of concerning food. Would definetely stay here again!

Great central location, within walking distance of most of the city sights. The hotel is nicely refurbished and clean. The view from the rooftop terrace to the Acropolis is superb. Breakfast served from the adjacent cafe is chosen from a limited menu but the quality is good and it is absolutely huge - likely setting you up for most of the day.

I’ll be thinking about how comfortable that bed was until the day I die. A lovely hotel in a great location surrounded by lovely little bars and places to eat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, one morning a group of them even helped to get us tickets to the AEK Athens football game which was greatly appreciated (by me,not so much by my girlfriend!) If we are ever back in Athens I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

    This was so lovely.

    This was so lovely. Recommend dining at MS rooftop restaurant. We were given an amazing table overlooking the acropolis lit up at night. The atmosphere was fabulous and the staff were so friendly- especially Tony.

    Geat Square and very near everything metro 3 mins and Ermo...

    Geat Square and very near everything metro 3 mins and Ermo Street with all boutiques shop a few minutes but the shop close on Sunday but are open to 9 every night. There plenty of places to eat and great atmosphere with all the street musicians. The Hardian Library stand out and if you walk to it there a, side road beside it that bring u down to the entrance to Agora.the ancient town

    Ooo Boy !!! My favourite place to spend some quality time... Fresh Fruit Catrs were my pick. Base to Acropolis with its beautiful view at night.. Tour buses, Taxis, Subway and open air resturant make it good central point..

    This is just north of the ancient Agora and close to a couple of other ancient attractions. A very lively, busy area full of bazarre-style shops, bookshops, restaurants, bars etc. Well worth a visit at any time of the day.

    Quaint early in the mornings.

    Quaint early in the mornings. Very busy after that with people loitering around, but still enjoyable for the experience of flea markets, outdoor eateries, the metro station and the views up to the Acropolis, esp from the rooftop restaurants there.

    The location of this hotel was perfect - right in the centre of Athens surrounded by restaurants and only a 5 minute walk from Monastiraki square. The room was very well decorated and very clean. The staff were so friendly and happy to help in any way they could. I would definitely stay here again.

    The room and bathroom were a bit compact, but as a tourist, the real highlight was the location. The hotel is situated very close to Monastiraki Square and the metro station, making it extremely well-connected. There are plenty of restaurants and general stores nearby, which adds to the convenience. The best part of staying here is definitely the connectivity. I would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a well-connected place for a short stay in Athens.

Very friendly and helpful staff (special thanks to Tasos!). The Rooster Café was also very nice, with very friendly staff. We really appreciated the option of leaving our luggage (at the café or at Tasos's fabric shop) before check-in and after check-out.

    We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was spacious and very clean, ideally located in the city center next to Monastiraki Square, within walking distance of the Ancient Agora and the Acropolis—perfect for anyone wanting to visit the archaeological sites. Despite being in the heart of the city, the apartment was reasonably quiet, and the air conditioning was pleasantly silent. The host was also very responsive and helpful.

    There was a problem with the apartment before I arrived so I was given a free upgrade to a different, larger one. I therefore can't review this apartment directly since I didn't stay in it, however I would like to give a positive review to the excellent communication from the host, the great service finding an alternative, and flawless self-check-in despite the last-minute change. I can also confirm that the apartment location near Monastiraki square is fantastic and great value for money.

    Stylish Living Iro suite is a little gem just a block away from the main shopping street and Monastiraki square. Very clean, super comfortable bed, great shower. It might be a bit tight for 2 people, but for one person, it was perfect. Great communication with the host. Dimitra replied to any questions within a few minutes. I will definitely book this place when Im in Athens again.

    Between Monastiraki and Thyssio there's a little street full of restaurants and bar where the food is simply AMAZING. Try tzatziki (cucumber and garlic in a yougurt sauce) or Souvlaki or Mussaka.! :)

    Shopping in May has the advantage of end of winter sales. I saw ankle boots go from 45E to 25E. Prices are better in Athens than say, Thessaloniki, and Monastiraki is where you'll find sales on shoes, clothes and linen.
