Loved the internal decor - just beautiful. The delightful courtyard and flowers at the front door complemented the interior. Host was very welcoming and happy to chat and tell us the history of the building. Bed was so comfy and breakfast fresh and inviting.

The Royal Maritime Hotel is just 5 minutes’ walk from the Gunwharf Quays waterfront development and Portsmouth’s Historic Dockyard.

The hotel very kindly provided us with a packed lunch because out boat was leaving early and we were going to miss breakfast at no extra cost .

The Ship Leopard hotel is just 2 minutes from Portsmouth Harbour railway station and 3 minutes away from the Historic dockyard.

The Ship Leopard is a wonderful hotel close to the train station and Royal Naval museum. The staff is amazing and rooms are lovely. Breakfast was plentiful.

The Queens Hotel is an Edwardian building just 5 minutes walk from the beach and sits opposite Southsea Common.

Only stopped one night as using ferry to Santander. Staff were great. Location is good.
