Lake Windermere is very popular and can be busy around the Jetty areas where people take a trip on the water. Just out of town the Lake Jetty Museum show some beautiful boats that have seen time on the water. There is also a trip you can purchase there. For motor fanatics, the motor museum just out of town shows a very extensive selection of cars bikes and motor vehicles of all areas. They also show the world land and water speed records made by the Campbells. Definitely worth a visit if you are Into that kind of thing. A cafe is available.
