Clean hotel, friendly employees, great location. Felt safe and taken care of. The last day I was suffering from food poisoning (NOT from the hotel food, I didn’t eat there), and they assisted me greatly. They even gave me a complimentary mild meal to calm down my stomach, which was very kind of them.

My stay at The St. Regis was truly exceptional from start to finish. The hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way. One of the standout features for me was the impeccable cleanliness—every corner of the property felt spotless and well-maintained, creating an atmosphere of pure comfort and luxury. The on-site restaurant was another highlight. The quality of the food, the presentation and the variety offered were all outstanding. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful service making each dining experience special. The hotel itself is beautifully designed and feels brand new with a modern yet elegant aesthetic throughout. What truly sets The St. Regis apart, though, is the staff. Every team member I encountered was incredibly professional, warm and genuinely eager to help. Their attention to detail and personalised service went far beyond my expectations. I left feeling thoroughly impressed and very happy with my stay. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend The St. Regis to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable and seamless hotel experience.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent from the very beginning. Upon arriving in Cairo, a hotel driver was already waiting for us, making our transfer to the hotel seamless and comfortable. Additionally, we needed to add an extra night to our reservation, and the hotel staff managed it without any issues. The staff was outstanding at all times, providing us with great recommendations on what to do in Cairo and Giza. They even helped us arrange private drivers for all our activities, which gave us a sense of security and allowed us to enjoy our visits in an organized and stress-free manner. Breakfast was spectacular, with an unbeatable view of the Pyramids of Giza. As for the service, all the employees were top-notch—attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Without a doubt, this is an experience we would repeat. Highly recommended!

We went to this museum because GEM was not officially opened and the Tutankhamun masks were still displayed in The Egyptian Museum. I recommend you to get a guide at least for one hour to explain you the most important pieces and then you can stay longer if you want. We found Mr. Ahmed Marei by the ticket office- very knowledgeable and passionate about the egyption history. He speaks English very well and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! :)

I was disappointed with the Egyptian museum, it looks in a pitiful state, dirty, torn linoleum. The staff, also ask for tips on the toilet inside the museum. I did not see any information boards about the exhibits.

So much stuff. So many copies of the same thing. No labels. No cohesive narrative. Glad that the new GEM (Great Egyptian Museum) is opening now. Slowly, important displays will migrate to the GEM, I believe.

In Giza, some locals assume that all tourists have unlimited money and may charge different prices if you're a foreigner. Be cautious, as you might be asked to pay in dollars instead of the local currency. In my opinion, it's not worth going inside the pyramid—it's better to enjoy the view from the outside. A key lesson when visiting Egypt is to learn Arabic numbers, as this can help you avoid being overcharged.

This museum is well worth a better maintenance and attention and overall care. The building is an architectural masterpiece. The artifacts incredible, surpassed all our expectations. Possibly because of the work and organisation of the new museum in Giza by the pyramids , this one was somehow left behind. Anyway, it’s of unparalleled value and not to be missed when in Cairo.

Honestly, the experience was very excellent. The hotels are very close to the pyramids. As soon as you wake up, the view of the pyramids is the first thing you see. It's as if you're in a movie. The room was clean and the reception was extremely beautiful. The terrace was amazing. The view makes you not want to leave the place. Everything is available to you from services and restaurants. The hotels also offer wonderful activities such as a trip to the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum and many other things.

We had such an amazing stay at this hotel! The view of the pyramids from our balcony was simply breathtaking, and the room was clean and comfortable. What really stood out, though, was the service. Mohamed helped us arrange a full-day tour to Saqqara, Memphis, and the Egyptian Museum, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Without him, our trip wouldn’t have been half as smooth. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent location overlooking Tahrir Square and the Egyptian Museum - which I conveniently paid a morning visit. Breakfasts were simple and lovely. Hotel can arrange tours, which I opted for transport only. This was a bonus for me when visiting Giza, Saqqara, Mit Rahina (ancient Memphis), Museum of Egyptian Civilization and Coptic monasteries in Wadi Natrun, with relatively less value for my sightseeing in downtown Cairo.

This hotel was such a great base for exploring Giza and Cairo. They helped us arrange a private city tour to the Egyptian Museum and the Citadel, followed by a Nile dinner cruise with dancing and traditional food. The room was comfortable, AC worked perfectly, and we always had hot water. Great value for money!

I had a short one-day stay at a hotel in front of the Pyramids, but it was truly memorable. Thanks to Ahmed’s exceptional support, I was able to visit the Pyramids, the Sphinx, Saqqara, and the Egyptian Museum all in one day. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and have good air conditioning, especially for Cairo. The location is excellent—very close to the Egyptian Museum, the Nile, and the Cairo Tower. I want to say a big thank you to the hotel staff. They were incredibly kind and friendly. They helped me a lot when I got sick, brought breakfast to my room, and always checked in to see if I needed anything. I truly appreciated their care and support. If you are Looking a placer close to downtown and also affordable. This one would be a very good option.
