The hotel is set in one of the most beautifull locations in Prague. My room (number 7) in the 3rd floor was generously spaced with 3 windows facing the river side and an amazing view. Beds are comfortable, room had a couch and 2 chairs + coffee table. An ideal place for a romatic weekend, or even an entire week!

Location was amazing. Near everything but still somehow quiet. Cute little wine bar downstairs wheee we had complimentary Prosecco and great breakfast. The staff were great with recommendations too. Most importantly the room has AC and the bed was super comfortable. We liked it more than our bed at home.

Location perfect, spacious room with excellent bathroom, gorgeous building, all the 24/7 services that all great hotels should offer. Good value for money. Walking distance to all major tourist attractions, including Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and the Funicular. A good meal or a gorgeous museum seemed to always only be a stone’s throw away.

Charles Bridge

This faithful friend has spanned the watery divide between the Old Town and Malá Strana for over 600 years. The stream of footsteps on the cobbles sounds out a restless beat, accompanying the myriad street musicians and performers. Bronze statues stand watch over the crowd, giving an eternal sense of grandeur to this most majestic of Prague’s bridges.

Sunset is one of the best times to view the bridge and walk across. Make sure to check out the John Lennon Peace Wall when you get to the other side of the bridge. Check out the Good Luck St. John of Nepomuk statue - it is shiny where people rub it for luck.

Excellent bridge with a lot of history around it. Great place to visit and learn more about Prague and it's history. I didn't know the last time a car or bike was allowed to go through the bridge was in the 50s.

This stunning bridge is pictureseque and like something from a postcard. However, especially on the weekends, it is absolutely swarming with tourists at all hours of the day and night, and so I would recommend getting there early in the morning (on a weekday) to maximise your visit. Otherwise, it's really hard to appreciate the architecture and history, and it is very busy with tourist-based vendors.

Amazing view and the way from the Narodni museum to the bridge is wonderful by walk. You get to see and experience different shops, eateries etc. It was raining when we were there so we didn't get to stay long on the bridge itself. But worth visiting.

Bustling in the afternoon, but still a wonderful walk across this amazing bridge where artists line the streets between statues of old. And the views of the city are breathtaking. Early in the day would be the least traveled times for less traffic, but any time of the day is still work the stroll.

Great hotel, great location, next to Charles Bridge and a short walk to the Old Town. Fantastic breakfast and friendly, helpful staff! We walked to the hotel BUT the COBBLESTONED streets made it a difficult and slow trip! Our tip in Prague is take an Uber if you are dragging suitcases any more than 500ms.

I am so satisfied that I felt like I was in a royal palace. Everything was perfect, sparkling and luxurious. The bedroom, bathroom, coffee and tea for guests were neat. The view from the window was fantastic, a view of the old quarter. It is close to the Charles Bridge. The hotel manager is the most ideal and kind person. He changed the room I had chosen by mistake, he made me feel very welcome. I had the most fantastic and perfect rest of my life. If I ever end up in Prague, I will definitely come here again ❣️❣️

The location of the apartment was fantastic. It was situated below the castle. Despite people passing by the window it was surprisingly quiet and the area was very quiet from 11pm as the nearby pubs and restaurants close by then. The Charles Bridge is a 10 minute walk way, very convenient for exploring Prague. The lady who manages the apartments was extremely accommodating, friendly and gave us helpful tips on what times to visit certain attractions.

Depending on the room type you pick it goes from small to large but even me traveling alone the room size was more then enough. Location super great. Right under the castle, 20-30 walk to Petrin tower and a 15 walk to Charles bridge. The location was the best part about this hotel and the fact that it was in a quiet street with no hustle and bustle. Breakfast was, well, average. Typical continental breakfast. Wished they had more local stuff. Dinning hall was quiet small so could get crowded at times.

The location was superb and all the staff were great, really very professional. They arranged for a pick-up for us from the station, which was a great choice for us to get into the center of town and to the front door of the hotel. The room was very spacious, comfortable and had a great ensuite bathroom. Breakfasts were amazing and included in our booking, so good value for money there. Thanks for a really awesome stay and we can highly recommend Moods Charles Bridge as the place to stay in Prague.

  • Be prepared to wander off the beaten track.

Be prepared to wander off the beaten track. There are lovely gardens in Mala Strana and around the castle which are usually very peaceful. Petrin Hill is great for walking - it is steep, but there is a great funicular railway if you don't fancy the climb. The view rom here is lovely - and also from Letna Park, by the giant metronome. Stromovka is another nice park where you won't be tripping over other tourists and the area around Vysehrad tends to be quiet too. Prague Castle opens quite early and a ticket will give you entry on 2 days. Buy your ticket early to avoid the queues and give you time to see around everything. If you are an early riser, head to Charles Bridge before 10am to avoid the crowds. May is a great time to visit Prague. It is usually sunny, the cherry blossom is out and there are fewer tourists than in the summer. Avoid July and August when it is hot and crowded if you can.

  • Leave the tourist areas!

Leave the tourist areas! Get away from Charles Bridge and Old Town, find a little pub tucked away. Take the tram somewhere and go wandering. If you are in Old Town, check out the Koruna cafeteria (next to Hooters) for some cheap, delicious authentic Czech cuisine. It's where the locals go when they have to be in Old Town.
