The hotel is great! It is very comfortable, nicely decorated, with a big enough room, a comfortable bed, and two different pillows (harder and softer). The location of the hotel is excellent—close to the center but very quiet, with a view of the ancient amphitheater. There is a very cozy terrace, with nice chillout music where you can relax. The breakfast is delicious, with so many varieties. Last, but not least, the staff is great, polite, at your disposal for anything you need. The young guy helped us parking the car and with our bags and also recommended the local restaurant (that was excellent). I highly recommend this hotel and hope that I will have an opportunity to come back.

Durres Amphiteatre

This amphitheatre seems to appear out of nowhere, as if plonked in the middle of the town without rhyme or reason. Though unearthed in the late 20th century, it’s been left to crumble all over again until recently. But venture in and you’ll discover a spectacular, historical space with an early Christian chapel complete with old mosaics and frescoes.
