Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. Amazing experience as an overnight stay in Milford Sound, stunning, everything was wonderful, the crew and the captain are professional and with a lot of knowledge. Food really great. It is the best way to see and enjoy the 8th Wonder of the world, which indeed it is. One of the jewellery of our visit to New Zeeland was this experience, totally stunning. Governor suite is really amazing giving you the possibility from your room the great scenery and beauty of the fiord in a possible rainy day.

Rebecca was an excellent host. Our stay was exceptional. Cleaned to perfection and a great location. Breakfast in the morning was very much appreciated for the long days we had ahead. The comfiest bed we’ve slept in so far too!

The house and surroundings were beautiful and so comfy. The wisteria suite was great bed so comfy too. Jeff and Jan made us feel at home and Jeff made a scrumptious breakfast. Eddie the dog was an extra treat!

It is a wonderful lone big house, looks new, on a hill overlooking a lake, beautiful scenery. The owners are very nice. It is a very spacious and quiet. Great fire place with plenty good fire wood. It was a great pleasure staying there. We had all the equipment and appliances that we needed, including washing machine and a dryer. Tips for guests: make sure you arrive there in daylight to make it easier to notice signs leading to the place. Read the owner's instructions and guidance well before arrival, including the WiFi code in case you need to call the owner with WiFi before you enter the house. Please be aware that there are no shops in the vicinity. It is highly recommended to buy your groceries in advance. The only restaurant which is within a reasonably short drive - closes early. The nearest food shop is a 15-20 minutes drive away, doesn't have much stuff and closes early. There is a pub near this shop which closes at about 10pm, to be verified. The kitchen closes much earlier. It is better to learn the area well in advance.

It's dog friendly, has a big garden for the the dog to run around, outdoor bath, about 30m to the beach, very homely and comfy.
