We stayed at Daymaruya Ryokan for one night and had a wonderful time! The owner of the Ryokan picked us up from the railway station, drove us to the snowmonkey park and was extremly nice! We were able to communicate with both owners in English, got keys for the onsen in the town and even our own Yukata to wear at the onsen! We reallly enjoyed to experience a tradtional Japan and spending time in your beautiful Ryokan. Thank you so much!

Absolutely a gem!!! Food was one of the best in the entire trip to Japan. Some staff spoke English and went out of their way to make the experience memorable. The onsen is natural hot springs with nice sulfur smell. Loved every second of this place. Would happily return.

Situato a Yamanouchi, a 4,1 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani, Shoraiso prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una sala comune e una terrazza. Questo hotel è un sogno! La nostra suite Kiku era spaziosissima, veramente immensa! Con un bel soggiorno dove ci veniva servita la colazione e la cena (entrambe sempre eccezionali, con lo chef che veniva in camera ogni sera per uno show cooking), una zona notte allestita con i futon (comodissimi!!!) e due bagni (wc e sala da bagno con accesso diretto all’onsen privato). La cordialità dello staff non si può spiegare, è un’esperienza che va vissuta. Siamo stati congedati con una manifestazione di gratitudine che ci ha commossi. Il popolo giapponese è veramente incredibile, grazie di tutto, Shoraiso è nel nostro cuore.

Hotarutei Villas si trova a Yamanouchi e prevede la vista sulla montagna, una terrazza, un ristorante e un bar. Struttura curata nel minimo dettaglio e arredata in maniera ottimale. Vasca onsen meravigliosa acqua a 42 gradi. La sig.ra Joyce estremamente attenta ad ogni cosa. Cena e colazione superlative.

Direttamente collegato alle piste della località sciistica di Okushiga Kogen e a 1 minuto a piedi dall'impianto di risalita 1, l'Hotel Grand Phenix Okushiga offre un comodo accesso diretto alle piste... I never experienced such VIP service otherwise in the world. Whole reception teams demonstrated what extraordinary service should be. I arrived late by bus and was welcomed by one receptionist in bus stop. so I did not need to carry my luggage in the snowing road. They even opened the ski rental shop for me after working hour. The next morning, I missed public shuttle bus and they offered to use hotel shuttle bus to drive me over to ski lift in Yakebitaiyama without reservation in advance. I felt that I was living with a lot of friends instead of living in hotel. I was too tired to try the bar at night, and I would like to try it next time. Swimming pool was good with quite warm water. Hot bathing place with best view. Sun rising over snow mountain top. Breakfast was very good with many variations. The dinner I ordered was pork hotpot, and personally I think the starter tasted better and pork meat is okay. I will try something else next time. All in all, the service and room condition are all top.

Dotato di accesso diretto alle piste, Villa Alpen è un alloggio situato a Yamanouchi (Nagano), a 13 km da Parco delle Scimmie di Jigokudani e 22 km da Comprensorio Sciistico Ryuoo. I really enjoyed staying at Villa Alpen! This ski in ski out hotel is quiet old but the atmosphere there is so peaceful. Onsen works 24 hours! It is a great bonus. The continental breakfast and Japanese style dinner served. All good! The staff is very friendly. The ski resort is consisted of multiple small resorts and they all interconnected. The owners accommodated all my needs and were very helpful and kind! I will be back for sure!
