This was a great place to stay in a beautiful and peaceful location! The staff was very acommodating and the rooms were very comfortable! HANARE紡舎Tsumugiya is a recently renovated holiday home in Ogawa, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. This is a beautiful and very large accommodation (an entire house), that seems to be taken right out of an interior design magazine! It is clear that the owners and beautifully carefully renovated an old traditional Japanese house. It is a joy to stay here! Night skies are especially beautiful.

This place is a rare gem! We stayed for only 3 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer! Naoko is the warmest and most accommodating host! We loved her home, it was super comfortable and her food is amazing! Breakfast is included, both Japanese and Western breakfasts were delicious, and her dinners too! Every dish was a delight! Naoko really went above and beyond for us, and even made us bento box lunches to take with us. Our 6 year old son, had the best time! He became bestfriends with Naoko’s dog, Taro. They went for walks, played, fished for tadpoles and frogs together. We also became very acquainted with her chickens and rooster. This place is perfect for kids to run free and have fun! To get there, it’s best to rent a car. Kochi is so beautiful and worth a visit. For us, 3 nights wasn’t enough. We hope to have the chance to see Naoko, Taro and the chickens again!

The view was absolutely amazing. The hotel was beautiful. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were great (breakfast in japanese and western styles to choose). Outdoor public onsen under the star was unforgettable. Free ice-cream/drinks from lobby cafe and easy access to surrounding sightseeing locations made the stay even more exceptional.

This hotel is magnificent! The room we had was huge and looked out over the river. The bathroom was spacious too. The setting was in a calm area so very peaceful. Don't be put off staying here by the 'love' element! We're a couple in our 60s and we felt very welcome and relaxed here. There's nothing sordid or kinky about the hotel: it's simply one for adults only, with a few items supplied in the room that you may wish or not to avail of. It was definitely the nicest hotel we stayed at during our ten-day holiday.
