Being located next to the Petra Visitor Center was ideal as the outstanding museum and entry point to Petra could be reached on foot. And we have a room with a wonderful view over the Museum to the hills. The room was quiet and had everything you needed including a small sofa, minibar and good and free equipment . And buy a great buffet with lots of options. The rooftop pool is absolutely gorgeous - very nice for a dip after a very hot day in Petra. The . The staff was friendly and helpful including valet parking. I was happy to ensure this hotel was not a more expensive option and would definitely stay again

Everything was flawless—the hotel was spotlessly clean, exceptionally well-organized, and the staff were incredibly kind. The car parking could use some improvement, though. A special shoutout to Mr. Ibrahim, who went above and beyond with his kindness and proactive support for all our needs.

Amazing host, really enjoying his job and willing to help tourists have the best time in Petra. The triple room looked great, with AC and a more European modern style, all of which have been highly appreciated. Great „breakfast box“ (huge and tasty mix of bread, fruit, and others) which can be used as a lunch during Petra‘s visit. We could take advantage of the private parking for our car. The place also has a very cozy terrace to enjoy the view on Wadi Musa. Once again, the host Otaiba and his family have been the best!

Sunset Hotel is situated opposite the main entrance to Petra (3-minute walk away), in Wadi Mousa. It features free Wi-Fi in public areas and an outdoor restaurant. Breakfast and free room upgrade were very nice

Very comfortable and clean room in a traditional style located in the Bedouin village less than 3 kilometers from Petra’s main entrance and 150 meters from the back entrance. The hosts, a lovely local family, were extremely nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, gave us useful information and cooked delicious dinners for us when we came back from visiting the sites. It was a great pleasure to stay with them and we really enjoyed their company and warm hospitality.
