Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Located in the heart of the cave district, this hotel had wonderful food and great hosts who made our stay so nice. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable.

The room offers a hot tub, a king-size bed and a private bathroom. The room also has the option of soothing music. A very friendly receptionist who explains the whole exploration through Matera. Breakfast was also varied and delicious.

This was a truly unique experience to be transported back in time. The staff was so welcoming knowledgeable and beyond kind. This was most definitely one of the best experiences of my life.

Aiaga La dimora di Don Antonio asub Materas, 700 meetri kaugusel Matera katedraalist, MUSMA muuseumist ja Tramontano lossist. The location was excellent with underground parking available. Very secure. Just on the edge of the old part of the city. The room was spectacular, with typical good Italian design and finishes. Loved everything about it.

The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. You are in the Sassi and centrally located. The owner, Giuseppe, and his wife, were the best! From the moment we registered online, he sent notes on Whatsapp to me telling us where to park, how to take the bus, directions to walk with pictures and instructions. All was very helpful. He got us dinner reservations at Pico and it was marvelous. I left my hat at Pico, and he arranged to get it with the owner of Pico…a great effort!!! Thank you Giuseppe for a great stay!
