The place is beautiful, very cozy, with a lot of charm & beautiful views in the room as well as the whole house. The common kitchen is super nice, well equipped, and a good place to talk with Anna. Breakfast was wonderful. And, there is a hot tub for guests.

Great location for exploring southwest Iceland. Peaceful surroundings. The little house is cozy and, in our opinion, comfortable enough even for 2 adults and 3 older children (we don’t spend our days inside anyway). The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is sufficient for preparing basic holiday meals. What we enjoyed the most was the wellness area with the bathtub and sauna. The host responded to all our questions immediately and willingly. Highly recommended.

The communication from booking and right through our stay was brilliant from Dmitrii and Ögmundur. The cabin itself is gorgeous and the location is perfect. It’s located next to a restaurant but yet still isolated enough to enjoy your own company. The hot tub while surround by snow is surreal. I cannot fault this property one bit. We will be back and have been sharing the property details with our friends and families since we returned home.

The owner was nice and great with communications. Its a huge 4 bedrooms apartment, very clean and had everything we needed. The location is in a farm and very quiet and we loved it. We only stayed for 1 night and did not use the hot tub.

What an experience staying in two lovely quaint barrels. So unique. We love finding different places to stay. It was so warm and cozy inside the barrels with a lovely bathroom, and the outside shower room was spacious and very warm too, with lovely fluffy gowns. We had the place to ourselves so we didn't share the shower room. Sùsannah was so welcoming and responsive online. Such friendly dogs, and a brief sighting of the cat. And what a treat to sit in a hot tub under the stars looking at the Northern Lights when it was freezing outside! Our teenage just girls loved it! Wish we could've stayed longer.

We loved everything about our apartment! The decor, comfort (one of the best beds we've ever encountered at a rental), and attention to details, including the guidebook and detailed checkin/out instructions. The owner is also very communicative, helpful, and friendly. We would 100 percent return and recommend to others.

The location is excellent, very close to everything on the Golden Circle. The hot tub is life-saving after a long day, even giving additional energy to visit something else in the middle of the night (we travelled in May with practically no darkness at all). Clean and comfortable house.
