The location is perfect - on the main shopping street with tons of good restaurants, rooftops and a walking distance to everywhere - syntagma, monastiraki, psiri, old agora, acropolis.

The Residence Aiolou Hotel & Spa asub Ateenas, Ermou tänava ostupiirkonnast 600 meetri kaugusel. I loved the comfort of the room, simple, chic, clean, the location in terms of how easy it was to walk everywhere, albeit, friends from Athens tell me, it’s close to not the safest of streets. Personally, I didn’t come across anything unpleasant and walked around a lot. All the staff I met with were amazing, from the very first night I arrived, a young man called Panu (tall with glasses) welcomed me there and was so so helpful. Georgia is also amazing, helped every way that she could and is so polite with perfectly spoken English. All the young men on reception were exceptionally polite and helpful. Five Star Staff for sure and I would recommend this hotel for that alone but the cleanliness was also five star, so comfortable I didn’t want to leave! The view of The Acropolis from the room’s terrace is an added bonus. Beautiful.

Rooftop restaurant overlooking the Parthenon was so lovely. Breakfast was fantastic and there were many typical Greek food options that we could choose from.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like princesses thanks to the incredibly warm and smiley customer service. The staff were always there to check on us, making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, very comfortable, and beautifully maintained. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant—absolutely unforgettable! Even though the swimming pool was under renovation, we had access to the pool at the sister hotel, Electra Metropolis, just a short 2-minute walk away, which was a perfect alternative. Overall, we are beyond happy with our stay and will cherish these memories for a long time. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so special!
