Cosy and as advertised. it was clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a stay. Easy to locate, and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Great for stargazing and just to disconnect and relax in a quiet place. Everything seems handcrafted which is very twee and nice in this day and age.

The place is a little difficult to find. The owner stayed with me on the phone and stood on the road to make sure I could find it. Very pleasant hosts.

Set in Glenlivet, in a historic building, 40 km from Elgin Cathedral, Old Manse of Craggan is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and barbecue facilities. Picturesque view in the highlands overlooking a valley with a river below. Entire property has been newly renovated and the accommodations are unsurpassed. From wood burning fireplaces in the bedrooms to spa like bathrooms—Old Manse of Craggan has it all. Arrive early and try out the jacuzzi overlooking the valley.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Elrick Estate - Coach House is set in Newmachar. A hot tub is available for guests. The property is exceptional. The host is very accommodating and knowledgeable. The layout of the coach house is fabulous. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to work in. It has more than you need for a stay and surpasses all other similarly priced properties by a mile. I’m struggling to say anything negative. I would recommend it as the place to stay whilst in the area.
