A magical place!! The views are spectacular (Nile and Philae Temple), the terrace with jet pool and incredible reprieve from the heat, the staff best of the best, we could not have asked for more. Loved so much we stayed 3 extra days! The spa is fantastic and overall the place just so relaxing and calm. One of the best parts is the adopted rescue pup ‘Hummous’ 🙂 What a sweetheart! Love, love, love this place.

Located in the Nubian Desert on the banks of the Nile, opposite Elephantine Island, Sofitel Legend Old Cataract offers elegant rooms and suites. It features outdoor and indoor pools. Beautiful historic hotel by the Nile River, very well maintained, highly recommend for a luxury stay from star to finish. Ensure to take the tour and see Agatha Christie's room where she lived for a year to write Death on the Nile. I stayed one night before boarding our Nile Cruise but wish we stayed at least 2.

Azal Lagoons Resort Abu Simbel asub Abu Simbeli linnas, 5 km kaugusel Abu Simbeli templitest. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. Very nice facility, super friendly staff and service,good breakfast, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Kato Dool Wellness Resort asub Aswanis, 19 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. The resort is located a bit far but easily reached by a free tuk tuk provided by the resort. Having said that it’s location has the most breathtaking views. The resort is very well maintained, beautifully built and complimented by it’s decor and vibrant colours. Breakfast and dinner was of good quality and we truly loved having dinner overlooking an incredible view. The pool is a plus to the resort and we happen to use it alot.Last but not least the staff are super friendly and helpful. Thank you Abdull Sad,Tarak and all the rest whom we happen to meet while on our stay . Hoping to see you again someday.

Hotell Tolip Aswan asub kesklinnas Niiluse jõe ääres. Hotellist avaneb vaade Niilusele. We book a room at this hotel for one night stay prior our Nile Cruise. Our flight arrival time was 8:30 a.m. and I had ask the hotel if they had a storage room were we could leave our luggage while our room became available. The hotel reply was quick and accommodating. To our surprise, once we arrived at the hotel, they had a room ready for us. We were so exhausted and happy to find a place to lay our head. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Nubian Holiday House Aswan asub 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Noblesi hauakambrist. Majutusasutusel on suur privaatne katus, kust avanevad imelised vaated külale, põldudele ja Niilusele. The place in reality is much better than how it is presented in the pictures. There are also two sunbeds in the common area. There is also a tv, but without English channels. Rooms are quite (no noise from the street) and have been recently renovated. Of course you hear the boats in the Nile and the nearby mosque. Furniture is simple but nice. Normally it is difficult to find in Egypt such a charming place presented in a simple way. Taking the ferry to Aswan is very simple and super cheap. In the village when you walk everybody says hello and welcome. You feel super safe. In this Aswan is very different... It is also safe but turists are harrassed. Frankly we liked very much this place.
