The place is authentic and wonderful. Loved the natural pool and the cottages, simply wonderful. The staff was lovely and made us feel at home!

Beautiful quiet location. Walking distance to the park. Victor the manager was very helpful and spoke English. The hostel is right on the river so nice to hear the sounds of the river.

Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona asub Tayrona rahvuspargis, 33 km kaugusel Santa Martast. Terrassi ja mäevaatega hotell pakub otsest loodust. Kohapeal on gurmeerestoran, niiskuseala ja katamaraanivõrgud. It is beautiful and surrounded by nature, loved seeing/hearing some animals (toads, birds, foxes, monkeys). Breakfast and dinner were good. I liked the jacuzzi reservation system. The staff is lovely and very helpful. I read some people complained about the lack of hot water but with the heat in the area I quite enjoyed the temperature.

Terrassiga Eco hostel yerba buena asub Magdalena piirkonnas El Zainos, 30 km kaugusel Santa Martast. Mõnel majutusruumil on terrass ja/või rõdu. Samuti on olemas rätikud. The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

The Villa is few meters away from the main road, yes, there is some noise, but late night until early morning no problem sleeping with the balcony door open. Birds singing from the early hours. Very comfy balcony, a hammock, fantastic hot shower available with enough water. The view of the well-cared garden is amazing. Satisfying breakfast (optional), super tasty dinners and other meals available on the menu. Staff warm and welcoming, though not much English speaking, using Translator makes communication easy. :) The room was cleaned every day, so were the towels changed. The Villa is 10 minutes on foot from the El Zaino entrance. The local bus to take you to other beaches outside Tayrona operates all day long, you just wave your hand :) and for a 1.50 euro fee, it takes you to Playa Los Angeles, Playa Costeňo or further distant beaches. We also paid the extra trip to Chengue Beach, the most isolated and protected. The corals one can see in the lagoon waters are breathtaking. Hope it continues the no mass tourism regime, to protect this beauty. We only snorkelled and swam there. Nobody else, just an old man who lives there (pure Robinson life). Coming there takes some time and also not little money, but definitely worth it. A lovely macho cat and a lady dog accompanying you on the dining terrace make the Villa’s atmosphere even more pleasant.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, Senda Casa Tayrona Los Naranjos is situated in Los Naranjos, 35 km from Santa Marta and a 5 minute drive from Tayrona park main entrance. The place is amazing. Stunning.

Kantawa Hotel & Spa asub Santa Martas Calabazos, vaid 3 km kaugusel Tayrona rahvuspargi sissepääsust. Fantastic food from Carlos the cook and fantastic hospitality from Charles and his team! The site is beautiful and directly next to the river. So don’t forget you mosquito spray! Very helpful team, we asked them to store our luggage for two days because we stayed in tayrona for two nights and it was no problem at all. They even offered us to use the pool area afterwards.

4 Pozos Tayrona asub Calabazos, 28 km kaugusel Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrinost. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. Kohapeal on ka concierge ja veepark. Everything about 4 Pozos was great. The location is beautiful, breakfast was excellent, the beds and rooms lovely and comfortable and Thomas and the staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. You have to shop for what you might want to eat and snack on as there are not a lot of stores etc close by, though there are restaurants and supplies near the park entrances so only a few kms away.
