The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu has been awarded as Five-Star hotel by Forbes Travel Guide for a sixth consecutive year. I had a great stay at the Chengdu Ritz-Carlton. The staff were super friendly, and I especially want to thank Kiki Xu for her assistance in finding my AirPods that I had left in the room after checkout.

What a good find. This boutique guesthouse at hegu haven checks most boxes: spotlessly clean rooms with comfy bedding, a serene garden for morning tea, and a restaurant with delicious local dishes. A small suggestion: adding more Western options would suit international guests better. The healing activities (listed in English!) like meditation were pleasant. Location-wise, it’s convenient—easy taxis, parking, close to temples and pandas. The only tiny wish? The pool could be a bit larger, but it didn’t take away from our nice stay. We’d likely return.​

Incredibly modern, sleek room, but the view of greenery gives it such warmth. You can tell it has been designed very thoughtfully. The area is perfect for a visit to Chendgu, especially being a short walk away from delicious street breakfast spots.

The hotel staff helped me borrow a bicycle so that I could go around the lake and see the beautiful scenery.

The room was warm, elegantly decorated, and incredibly cozy. The moment I opened the window, I was greeted with a stunning panoramic view — absolutely breathtaking. The service was top-notch, attentive and considerate in every detail. From check-in to recommending local attractions and travel routes, everything was handled professionally and with great care. I had initially thought that a hotel of this standard would be pricey, but the cost-performance ratio here was beyond my expectations. In other places, a similar hotel would easily cost more than I expected, but here I was able to enjoy the same luxury and comfort at a very reasonable price. It was truly worth every penny! This trip completely fulfilled my vision of a perfect vacation — beautiful scenery, comfortable stay, great service, and excellent value. I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

Bellissima struttura storica, ristrutturata mantenendo la magia del passato in mezzo a costruzioni moderne! Davvero fantastica, non ci sono molte parole per descriverla, anche le camere sono veramente ben arredate e ben fatte! Inoltre non è un problema la lingua, avere WeChat però è fondamentale per comunicare anche nella propria lingua con il personale dell’hotel, ho apprezzato molto l’organizzazione, la pulizia, la cortesia. L’hotel è situato abbastanza in centro con molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze.

青城山泉青小院温泉中式民宿 si trova a Taiping, a 4,2 km da Monte Qincheng e 12 km da Lidui Park Railway Station e mette a disposizione il WiFi gratuito, un giardino con terrazza, la vista sulla montagna, una vasca... Cheng is literally the best host ever. He picked me up from the train station and also took me to the bus station to get a bus to the back mountain. The place itself is great, was very peaceful and I slept super well. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to spend a few days in the countryside.
