Highland Grand Canyon is a boutique glamping retreat founded by Fabienne and Bass, a husband-and-wife team with a shared love for adventure, design, and the Grand Canyon. We officially opened in 2025 after years of planning, building, and dreaming. This land isn’t just where we built our business, it’s our home. Fabienne grew up here, exploring these forests long before Highland existed, and that lifelong connection to the canyon informs every detail, from the layout of our tents to the way we care for the land and welcome our guests. As a small, owner-run retreat, Highland reflects who we are: independent, intentional, and committed to offering genuine hospitality. Highland Grand Canyon is an off-grid, boutique glamping retreat just 4 miles from the South Rim, one of the closest and most distinctive places to stay near the Grand Canyon. Tucked among ponderosa pines and accessed via dirt and gravel roads, Highland offers just five safari-style tents, each thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, privacy, and a deep sense of calm. Each tent features a king-size memory foam bed, heated mattress pad, soft linens, hanging lanterns, and a private covered porch, ideal for reading, relaxing, or watching wildlife pass through camp.
