The area is peaceful and laid back whilst being a 10 - 15 minute walk / 3 mins scooter ride from a few beaches and the bustling Chaloklum village. Chaloklum Beach itself is 2.5 km long, with a small village and pier in the middle. Colourful, long-tail fishing boats moor along the immediate shoreline while Chinese-style wooden, as well as modern restaurants, villas and shophouses line the main street.
