Quinta das Palmeiras property is located about half way between the majour towns of Madalena (9 km) and São Roque (7 km) and about 3 km from the airport (PIX), as well as just over 1 km East from the paved asphalt road (enter at Santa Luzia Park) that goes up all the way to Mount Pico (for climbing and observing). The closest beach is less than 2 km by road. We are conveniently situated just a couple steps from the main road called Estrada Regional in Santa Luzia (Pico island), Azores. The room (R2) is next door to the shared bathroom (usually shared only with the hosts). About 200 meters from us there is a little local village grocery shop Minimercado Santa Luzia and two cafes within walking distance (1 km or less). Views of neighbouring islands and the Pico volcano abound. DOOR ENTRY: We do not have a guest key for the house main entry and the Room 1, since we are always at home, so we will open the door for you. Ring the doorbell button if the front door is locked. ROOM: Room 2 (R2) has got a TV and is 3,5 m x 3,8 m (13,3 sq. meters) in size and is a south-facing room (separate listing) with two single wooden beds (1,00 x 1,80m each) that can be joined together (upon request in advance, before your arrival). Two guests maximum in this room. Beautiful view to the back yard with garden, stone courtyard and stone walls. This room is next door to the (shared) bathroom/WC and next door to the (shared) kitchen (without snacks). Please enjoy your stay and treat our house as you would your own home.
Hosts (Tom and Daiva) like art painting and growing exotic trees such as palms and other plants. We have got several cats as pets that live outside.
