Property information

The apartment has been extremely well furnished and equipped and offers fantastic views over the bay, due to the elevated position of the complex, which is only 65 metres away from the beach. The living area is bright and spacious and presents a lounge with cable TV, free Wi-Fi, DVD player and a stylish dining area. The balcony on the top floor is ideal for entertaining and dining outside. The lower balcony, accessed from the lounge and kitchen allows direct access to the pool of the complex. All 3 bedrooms are located on the upper floor. The master bedroom has a super king-sized bed, an en-suite shower room and access to balcony with great sea views. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and also access to the sea view balcony. Bedroom 3 has a super king-sized bed. There is a double sofa-bed in the lounge, allowing this apartment to accommodate up to 8 guests in great comfort. Please note that only 6 pool bracelets will be provided, if there are more than 6 people in your group, you will need to share the bracelets between yourselves. The property benefits of a garage with a private space for your car. Please note that the space is tight and larger cars may be hard to fit in. There is free parking space outside the complex as an alternative. Please know there are some steps surrounding the complex and inside the apartment as it is a duplex, so this apartment is not ideal for people with serious mobility problems. Occasionally, festivals take place in São Martinho, and due to the central location of this apartment, the noise can be disruptive for guests seeking a quiet stay. The primary events that may cause disturbance are the New Year celebrations and the Festas de Santo António, which typically occur over 10 days in early to mid-June. If you are sensitive to loud music playing late into the night, please check the festival dates before making a reservation. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to check-in to this property on a Sunday.

Neighbourhood information

São Martinho is a beautiful small village, with a shell shaped bay. Due to its particular shape, the bay is the ideal beach for families with small children, as the strong sea current characteristic of the Atlantic ocean is not present there. Throughout the sea front there are nice cafés and bars and lovely restaurants, where you can delight yourself with delicious Portuguese food. Just a stroll away along the coast line and you'll find Salir do Porto River beach, which has the river streaming to the ocean and is also perfect for families due to its calm waters.
