A family house located in Figueira da Foz in litoral center of Portugal, "silver coast" in between the capital of the country" Lisbon" and "Oporto" also close to Coímbra. A city with very particular characteristics with beautiful landscape, beaches, mountain, historical background and a permanent contact with nature. Generous area of the house with big garden, located just 3 kilometers from the beach, perfect place for relaxing with family and friends. The Area is quiet and perfect for those who need to relax and wake up with birds sounds. Reading a book in the gardens is relaxing and revitalizing.
Welcome to Casa São José! My name is Paulo, and it’s a real pleasure for me to open the doors of this house to guests from around the world. I truly enjoy hosting because it allows me to share a space that has been part of my family’s story for generations, while also creating new stories together with the people who stay here. During the summer months, I live in an independent area of the property, which means I’m nearby and always happy to help with anything you may need, while respecting your privacy. In the winter I am usually based in Stockholm, Sweden, where I live most of the time, but I remain connected and available to assist you during your stay through my team. As a traveler myself, I know how important it is to feel comfortable and at home when discovering a new place. That’s why I try to make sure every detail is taken care of — from cleanliness to small touches that help you feel welcomed and relaxed. In my free time I enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures, and spending time by the ocean. These passions also inspire the way I host, always with an open mind and heart. Whether you are coming to relax, work remotely, or explore the beauty of the region, Casa São José is meant to be more than just a place to sleep.
