I have just recently come back from travelling back to the beloved island of Waiheke. I love the lifestyle here, sea views everywhere I look, beautiful beaches, great food, wine and people. With its close proximity to downtown Auckland (35-minute ferry ride) I believe I have found my idea of paradise! It has operated as accommodation for more than nineteen years under the same name, but a three-month renovation project has given this guest facility a new lease of life. I hope you love it just as much as we do!!

Property information

Kiwi House is a boutique Waiheke Stay offering six guest rooms set on two levels, amidst spacious decks and an attractive garden setting. We are perfectly located in Oneroa, Waiheke’s main village and just 5 mins by taxi from Matiatia Ferry Terminal and 7 mins by vehicle from Kennedy Point Car Ferry Wharf. Oneroa Village is a 10 min stroll from Kiwi House where you wander past two swimming beaches as well as discovering restaurants, cafes, bars & specialty stores along with banks, the library, and our local cinema and theatre. We accommodate up to 12 guests a night staying in one of our three queen ensuite rooms or three twin single rooms with a shared bathroom. We have a shared kitchen and dining room where many enjoy swapping notes and conversation with fellow guests. Kiwi House is perfectly suited for weekend escapes, summer holidays, wedding groups or celebrating special occasions with friends and family.
