Mount D’Urban is a family owned and run campsite situated on the farm Kosos.
The farm is also a fully working cattle and sheep farm. Our family has lived here for more than 30 years, and we are thrilled to now have the chance to share our home with you in all its beauty and charm. We hope you have a super experience at Mount D’Urban and leave loving this special place as much as we do!

Mount D'Urban has 10 separate self-catering camp units available, with sufficient space between each unit to provide our guests with privacy when staying with us.
Each self-catering camping platform has been designed to fit a large dome tent (3.5mx3.5m). Alternatively, for roof top tents, camper trailers or those setting up more than one tent, there is ample space provided directly adjacent to the platform on clean, compacted and leveled river sand.
Each campsite consist of a raised stone platform where you can erect a tent, or set up your sitting/kitchen area. The platforms are designed for a tent up to 3.5mx3.5m, however alternatively there is ample space to set up other tents/trailers/roof top tents on the leveled river sand area adjacent to every camp. Each campsite has a wooden roof structure to provide protection from the sun. Private ablution facilities are provided at each site, including a toilet, wash basin, shower and hot and cold water. All campsites are also equipped with an outside kitchenette consisting of outside washbasin, bench, braai grill and fire pit, lights and USB socket for charging cell phones and similar items

To keep busy the campsite has a range of activities on offer. Feel free to pack your mountain bikes and hit up some of our trails.
The farm has some lovely mountain viewpoints to be enjoyed, and if you’re a keen eye you're likely to spot some of the native wildlife too!
If your legs need some stretching we have a range of walking trails and you are free to walk around the campsite area as you wish. For those looking for a level relaxed walk to a lovely sun-downer viewpoint, there is Lindy's trail, and for the more adventurous there is the climb up to the top of Mount D’Urban!
