Hello, I'm your host, Yoshi. Would you like to stay at Ichimido, a lodging chosen by Airbnb's top 5% of guests?
Our lodging is a 120-year-old traditional Japanese house, my grandparents' birthplace, renovated with DIY projects and other creative touches.
You'll enjoy a spacious 160-square-meter space, rented exclusively for a relaxing stay.
While retaining traditional Japanese architecture, the areas near the water have been renovated with the latest technology. Experience our other high-quality amenities during your stay.
At our lodging, you'll stay in a home nestled in a genuine rural village, an experience not available at other inns or hotels. So,
1. Traditional architecture (beams, mortise-and-mortise pillars, earthen walls)
2. Tatami-floored Japanese-style room, alcove
3. Dining using tableware from Tajima, Tamba, and Shigaraki
4. A theater room in a traditional Japanese house!? (ANKER Nebura Cupsule LASER)
5. Japanese traditional bathroom (hot water supply)
You can rent the entire building, a spacious 160m² space, for your exclusive use. However, the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet are all state-of-the-art, ensuring a comfortable stay.
For foreign tourists interested in traditional Japanese culture, this is a particularly wonderful experience, as you can experience Japanese architecture and culture while using modern amenities.

Hello, I'm YOSHI, the owner.
I was an elementary school teacher and an English teacher for 19 years.
I quit my job to start a new business and opened this accommodation.
I currently live in two locations, Kobe and Asago.
I love traveling, and even backpacked around Europe for two months. I enjoyed talking to people of different nationalities at guesthouses in each country every night.
I am looking forward to talking to you at this accommodation.
Located in the heart of Hyogo Prefecture, this inn is conveniently located for exploring various destinations. You may discover hidden spots along the way. Discussing your next destination with friends while staying overnight is one of the joys of traveling.
Takeda Castle Ruins - 5 minutes by car
Takeda Castle Ruins, known as the "Machu Picchu of the East" and designated as a National Important Cultural Property (Historic Site), is just a 5-minute drive (time to Yamashirogo Parking Lot). In recent years, thanks to the influence of social media, it has become popular not only with Japanese but also with international tourists.
From late September to early November, you can see the "sea of clouds," and many people climb the mountain early in the morning.
Why not spend the night before at the inn and use it as a base for photographing the sea of clouds?
Kinosaki Onsen - 50 minutes by car
With a history dating back 1,300 years, Kinosaki Onsen is one of Hyogo Prefecture's most famous hot springs, along with Arima Onsen and Yumura Onsen. It has also become increasingly popular with international tourists in recent years.
There are seven outdoor baths, making it a great place to enjoy a day trip.
I enjoyed our winter vacation by soaking in Kinosaki Onsen, buying crab, and cooking with friends back at my house. Why not take a little trip and enjoy a tour of the outdoor hot springs?
Hachi-Hachi Kita Kogen Ski Resort
If you're looking for skiing in Hyogo Prefecture, this is the place to go! From our lodge, you won't have to leave early in the morning from the city center and hit the slopes exhausted. After a comfortable stay, you can set off in peace.
Hachi-Hachi Kita is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, with 14 runs and a total area of 35 hectares. It also boasts many runs for children, making it a popular destination for families and beginners.
