Property information

Kajigamori Mountain Lodge is a beautiful lodge located in the middle of nature. The rooms, lobby, toilets, baths, etc. will be renovated in July 2023. With no buildings nearby, it is quiet and boasts beautiful starry skies. Kajigamori's sacred water bath, which uses spring water from near the summit, is also popular. We offer observatory tours from 20:00. (No reservation required for guests staying overnight, free of charge) Staff will guide you to the observatory attached to the lodge, and afterwards you can look at the starry sky outdoors. The cafe also offers drinks such as Kochi craft beer, local sake, and special cocktails, as well as curry rice and soba noodles.

Neighbourhood information

In the area around the lodge, you can enjoy trekking, cycling on an E-Bike (rental fee required, reservation required), day camping at the campsite, BBQ in the courtyard (paid, reservation required), and rafting on a beautiful river (paid, reservation required) about 40 minutes by car. (Please contact us by email if you would like to use a reservation-based activity) The summit is about a 5-minute drive from the lodge, and the sunrise and sunset from there are spectacular views, and if the conditions are right you can see a sea of ​​clouds in the early morning.
