Offering views of Gangtok town, Rumtek Hill and the mountain peaks, The Nettle and Fern Hotel Gangtok has 17 modern rooms and an in-house restaurant & bar serving international, North Indian, Oriental & local cuisine. It also houses a cafe & bakery, Loafing Around. Distance from and to M G Marg, the center of the city, is less than a km and takes 10-15 mins. The hotel has wood-paneled & laminated floor rooms. Facilities include, free wifi a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee maker, invertor back up, laundry service & room panel heaters. Convenience and medical stores are in close vicinity and the area taxi stop is located next to the hotel. Guest facilities include a travel desk where tours to other parts of Sikkim, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Siliguri, Bagdogra, New Jalpaiguri can be arranged at reasonable costs. Trekking and mountain biking can also be arranged.
