Skylark which overlooks the river Shannon is just 1 minute from the 4 star Lakeside Hotel and Leisure Centre. With magnificent views of the river from the garden you can take in the activities on the Shannon and the wonderful green landscape that surrounds you. It is 20km from Limerick and Nenagh off the N7.
A warm welcome awaits you. We are delighted to assist you in making your stay as friendly and comfortable as possible while recommending the many attractions in this beautiful scenic location. I am a dog lover and have 2 mini dachshunds and a cat. All are very friendly and sociable. I am a volunteer with the Therapy Dogs and enjoy golf, walking and Aqua aerobics.
This picturesque location in Ireland's Hidden Heartlands overlooks the river Shannon with St Flannan's 13th century Cathedral and the 16th century bridge joining the twin towns of Ballina and Killaloe. Take in the views of the Arran Mountains in Tipperary and the Bernagh Mountains in Clare. Meander through the twin towns and savour the Shops, Cafés, Pubs and Restaurants, walk along the boardwalk or river banks and take in the wild life and soak in the atmosphere! It is an ideal location for Hiking, Fishing, Cycling. Tennis, Golf and Watersports.
