Overlooking the famous Salthill Promenade, Galway Bay and the Clare Hills, this elegant hotel features a 25-metre swimming pool, a whirlpool, and a large gym. Just 1 km from Galway city centre, it is set in Galway’s beautiful countryside on the scenic route to Connemara National Park. With flat-screen TVs with cable channels, rooms at Salthill Hotel all feature free WiFi, and free tea and coffee. Rooms also include an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer and toiletries. Some rooms also enjoy beautiful sea views. Full Irish breakfasts are served each day, and The Amber Room and Prom Restaurants serve a variety of menus all made from locally sourced produce. Blackrock Cafe and Bar offers an extensive list of drinks, wines, cocktails and specialty teas and coffees. There is also outdoor seating offering views over the ocean. Free access is provided to The Ocean Fitness Centre, which provides a 25-metre indoor Swimming pool, an 18-metre hydro pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room. There is also a fully equipped, spacious gym. Parking is available on-site for a small fee, and the hotel is located on Salthill’s coast road opposite the promenade and Galway Bay. Galway Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away, and the Pearse Stadium is 5 minutes away on foot.
