PLEASE NOTE THE COTTAGE IS SITUATED DIRECTLY BEHIND OUR HOUSE. THE COTTAGE WINDOWS, APART FROM THE BATHROOM FACE THE MOUNTAIN. THE NEAREST PUBS AND RESTAURANTS ARE IN LOUISBURGH APPROXIMATELY 2.2 MILES FROM THE HOUSE. THE NEAREST SHOP IS 2 MILES FROM THE HOUSE. NO SEA VIEWS FROM COTTAGE. The property contains a south facing open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with stove fire. There is also a utility with washer/dryer. Outside there is a lawned garden and patio areas to the south facing rear and sides, as well as ample off road parking. An Nead Beag is a lovely base for friends looking for a tranquil location within 10 minutes walk to Old Head beach and ten miles to the lively town of Westport. Amenities: WiFI, Oil central heating and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview/Netflix. Selection of books and board games and DVDs. Turf/Wood and starter pack for the woodburning stove are provided. Bed linen and towels provided. Sorry, no pets, no smoking and no hen or stag parties.
I am a mixed media artist working in clay, metal and plastic. My studio is on site and I offer classes in silver jewellery and ceramics.
An Nead Beag is within 10 minutes walk to Old Head Beach, with glorious views of Clew Bay, Mulranny and Croagh Patrick. We are situated parallel to the Wild Atlantic Way. 2.2 miles from Louisburgh and 10 miles from Westport - voted the best place to live in Ireland. Clare Island is a boat ride away. We are on the edge of Connemara with amazing scenery everywhere you look.
