The words most used to describe The Sheiling in guest reviews are comfortable, homely, well-equipped and impeccably clean. This three bedroom detached house offers gorgeous views of Skye, Rum and Eigg across the sea and is both a great base for exploring the area and a peaceful retreat. The self-catering holiday home has a private garden, outdoor seating, picnic bench, spacious fully-equipped kitchen with seating for six, living room with a view, desk, smart TV, books and puzzles. Three bedrooms sleep five or six with the folding bed. The second double can be made up as a king-size or two singles.
Alison and Ewan like to think of everything that they can do to make their guests' stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They also share their knowledge of the area in a visitor guide and website packed full of information, recommendations and tips.
Arisaig and the surrounding area is a fantastic location for beaches, hill-walking, kayaking, boat trips, eating out and more. Spot the Jacobite steam train in different photogenic locations, listen to live music at The Crofters Rest, enjoy long walks on white beaches or across the hills, take a boat trip and spot some wildlife, go pony trekking on the Silver Sands and much more.
