Il Seagate è un hotel seicentesco situato nel villaggio di Appledore e affacciato sull'estuario del Torridge. Offre sistemazioni con trattamento bed & breakfast in camere arredate individualmente, e una locanda che serve birra e sidro accompagnati da un ricco menù con specialità locali a base di pesce. Ogni camera dispone di asciugacapelli, TV a schermo piatto, lenzuola di cotone e set per la preparazione di tè e caffè. Alcune vantano una vista sul mare e un'area salotto. Alcune sistemazioni si trovano nell'edificio principale, mentre altre sono ubicate in un nuovo complesso nelle vicinanze. Al mattino vi attende una colazione all'inglese con frutta fresca, cereali e succo d'arancia fresco. La struttura ospita un bar-ristorante che serve il pranzo e la cena tutti i giorni. Il menù comprende un vasto assortimento di pesce fresco. Il menù completo è disponibile in tutta la locanda e sulle terrazze sul fronte e sul retro, con vista sull'estuario. In circa 10 minuti di auto potrete raggiungere il porto di Bideford e le spiagge di Instow e Westward Ho.
