Offering affordable, clean & compact accommodation, the Railway Sleeper Lodge is just 5 minutes’ walk from Colchester Main Train Station. A convenient 24-hour self check-in service is provided. Each compact room has a microwave, fridge, well stocked hospitality tray, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and TV with free view channels. All rooms are ensuite making this great value budget accommodation. Free parking is available, and Colchester city centre is 5 minutes’ drive away. Colchester Zoo is a 10-minute drive, and the 11th-century Colchester Castle is 5 minutes away by car. The property will send you an SMS on day of arrival around 14:30 with the code to the front door so that you can check yourself in from 15:00. This will be sent to the number attached to the booking. Please note that the lodge operates a self check-in policy and you are unlikely to see a member of staff during your stay. A housekeeper will be available by telephone.
Early check-in between 12:00 and 15:00 can be arranged for a GBP 10 surcharge. This is subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
Please note that a maximum of 2 pets can be accommodated at this property for an additional cost of GBP 10 per pet per stay (pets are not suitable for the small double room).
The property is close to train station and hospital and some of the rooms may be affected by noise.
