Ludlow is a thriving medieval market town and an architectural gem with a lively community feel, busy with events and festivals throughout the year. The historic town center is situated on a cliff above the River Teme and is surrounded by the beautiful countryside of south Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. The Keep is located at the rear of the beautifully cobbled Quality Square in Ludlow. Partnering with The Old Bakehouse Bar & Kitchen we can offer a truly unique stay in Ludlow.
We started humbly but with a grand plan: To create the finest burger this town has ever tasted, end of story. And with nothing but a father and son duo this dream, we've grown and grown and exploded to this point where you're reading this right now and probably salivating & wondering how we've stumbled into accommodation. With such a beautiful building we felt The Old Bakehouse should be shared with all, so we've renovated & decorated the private accommodation & developed The Keep.
Located just off the market square The Keep is in prime position for all your needs, just a 2 minute walk from Ludlow Castle, built in 1086 this is one of Ludlow's oldest landmarks. Shops, bars & restaurants all near by & only a 10 minute walk from Ludlow Train Station.
