Tina was not only an excellent host in all the usual terms, but also was generously relaxed in terms of time allowing my 90 yo mum get up /breakfast in her own time. Thank you, Tina for this.

A lovely old farmhouse which was built over 200 years ago. The property backs onto the river Tone which is a short walk away from the King Alfred Inn and the landmark Burrow Mump, the area is steeped in history with tales of King Alfred The Great and his battles on the Somerset Levels. Easy access to several walking paths nearby in Burrowbridge and areas nearby (AONB) such as Mendip Hills, Quantock Hills, Black Down Hills, Exmoor. All rooms ar
Born and bred in Berkshire I moved to Burrowbridge to be closer to my daughter Lisa, her husband Phil and my Grandson Oliver. Phil and Lisa run and own the local pub, The King Alfred, Phil is an excellent chef providing top class meals at affordable prices. I love running Morland B&B because I enjoy meeting new people and helping to give them a relaxing break in the peace and tranquillity of the levels. I pride myself on going that extra mile for my guests. I am happy to drive people to the pub (10 minute walk away via road or river) in my car and fetch them again, so they can both have a quiet drink with their meal and relax.
A small village famous for its history. Burrowbridge is a hamlet, the nearest supermarket is an 11 mile round trip. There is a bakery in the village of Othery about 3 miles away. Torches are provided for those who wish to venture out after dark. (No lamp lights). Location - right in the heart of Somerset, the B&B is off the main road (the A361) - no nuisance of traffic at all and still fluent access if you want to go somewhere. Clarks village is in nearby Street and a walk around the famous and spiritual town of a Glastonbury is a must.
