Situated 6 miles from Monmouth, it's the perfect base from which to explore the Wye Valley and Black Mountains. Whether your stay is gastronomic, visiting the fantastic local restaurants and pubs, or more energetic -- climbing mountains, kayaking rivers, or exploring castles, come back to relax and enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature.
We love the fact that our guests can enjoy the wonderful Countryside, and many varied outdoor activities in beautiful Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. Maddoc's Hut is the perfect base for this.
Maddoc's Hut is in a beautiful field, 130 metres from the nearest house, overlooking the Welsh Hills. The nearest village, Broad Oak is 7 minutes walk and the beautiful town of Monmouth is 6 miles drive.
