Situato nei pressi dell'uscita 40 della M1 e a 5 minuti della M62, il Ramada Wakefield vi attende ad appena 3,2 km dal centro di Wakefield e a 15 minuti di auto dal centro di Leeds. Questa struttura sorge vicino al cuore commerciale della regione. Vale la pena di visitare lo Yorkshire Sculpture Park, il centro ricreativo Xscape, la Nostell Priory (casa palladiana risalente al 18° secolo) e la nuovissima Hepworth Wakefield, una galleria d'arte inaugurata nel 2011, la più grande fuori Londra.
